Nice to meet you!

I am Dr. Ghiselle—physician, wife, mother of four, and guide in hormonal transformation.

For years, I have been helping women who feel stuck in their bodies and are searching for real answers. But my mission did not begin in a doctor's office—it began in my own body.

I know what it feels like to experience migraines, PMS, and overwhelming fatigue every month. How you go from specialist to specialist, but always hear: “Your blood values are normal.”

Until I ended up with burnout myself and felt: this is not stress, this is a signal. My body was speaking, and I had never learned to really listen.

That experience changed everything. It took me from conventional medicine to the world of functional medicine, microbiome research, hormonal diagnostics, stress regulation, and consciousness work.

I discovered that hormonal complaints are not only biological, but also emotional, energetic, and sometimes even existential.

Today, as a doctor, I combine my medical knowledge with that broader, holistic view. Because I believe that women are entitled to care that sees them as a whole: head, heart, body, and life.

Whether you are struggling with PMS, perimenopause, stress, inflammation, or weight gain—I will help you to no longer fight your body, but to understand it.

Biography of Dr. Ghiselle

Dr. Ghiselle Panneflek is a physician, Diversity & Inclusion professional, coach, and mother of four. Born in Curaçao and raised with the strength and resilience of her community, she brought her dreams with her to the Netherlands. In the medical world, she had to navigate not only the complexities of her profession, but also the challenges associated with migration, representation, and finding a voice in systems that were not always designed for women of color.

That path was not easy, but her perseverance and vision made her the professional she is today: someone who breaks down barriers and inspires others to do the same.

For more than six years, Ghiselle has been active in the Diversity Working Group at Amsterdam UMC, where she has contributed to the development and implementation of D&I workshops, bias and bystander training, and microaggression training, together with passionate D&I officers and with the support of an encouraging management team. As project leader for the Equal Opportunities for All Doctors in Training to Become General Practitioners program, she and her colleagues and ambassadors took an important step toward creating an inclusive training culture. This led to a stronger voice for AIOS with diverse backgrounds, the formation of a network of ambassadors, and structural training courses. She considers the project one of her greatest successes in the field of D&I, because it shows how change is possible through collaboration and a shared vision.

In addition to her work within organizations, Ghiselle is also a doctor and guide in hormonal transformation. Based on her own experience with burnout and hormonal complaints, she developed a unique, holistic approach that combines medical knowledge, functional medicine, and consciousness work. In this way, she supports women in no longer fighting their bodies, but understanding them.

In addition to her professional work, Ghiselle is a mother of four children, whom she sees as her greatest source of inspiration. She considers them her main motivation for building a world in which equality and opportunities for all are a given.

With this multifaceted background in medicine, society, and personal life, Ghiselle is known for her warmth, authenticity, and persuasiveness. She knows how to touch and activate her audience, whether during a keynote speech, panel discussion, or workshop. Her message is clear: by truly embracing diversity and creating equal opportunities, organizations and individuals can reach their full potential.
