FAQs (frequently asked questions))
Q. Who is your coaching intended for?
A. My coaching is intended for women who experience hormonal complaints such as PMS, menopausal symptoms, unexplained fatigue, weight gain, chronic inflammation, or stress-related exhaustion. Even if you have already tried many things and feel that you are not really being heard, you are welcome.
Q. Are you a general practitioner or specialist?
A. Yes, I am a general practitioner with 20 years of experience in the field and have further specialized in functional/lifestyle medicine, hormone care, and integrative counseling. I work outside the regular healthcare system, which allows me to offer more time and depth than in a standard consultation.
Q. Is reimbursement possible through health insurance?
A. My consultations are not covered by basic insurance and are usually not reimbursed. Some supplementary packages offer (partial) reimbursement for a recognized naturopath or orthomolecular therapist — please check with your insurer for more information.
Q. What exactly does the process look like?
A. We start with a 15-minute telephone consultation. This is followed by a 75-minute intake. Based on your story and any tests, you will receive a personalized plan. The guidance is one-on-one, live or online, tailored to your pace and goals.
Q. What tests do you use and why?
A. I work with advanced tests such as the DUTCH test (hormones), saliva tests (cortisol/progesterone), blood tests, and microbiome analysis (gut flora). These provide a deep and reliable picture of your hormonal system, inflammation, digestion, and stress levels.
Q. Can I request a test without a program?
A. No. I only work with tests within the framework of a program, so that I can properly guide you in understanding and applying the results. A test without interpretation often leads to confusion or incorrect assumptions.
Q. Do you also work with hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?
A. Yes, when appropriate for your situation, I recommend bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (such as estrogen, progesterone, or DHEA). This is always done as part of a broader plan, tailored to your overall hormonal and medical context.
Q. Is your guidance also suitable if I still have a regular cycle?
A. Absolutely. Women with PMS, hormonal migraines, irritability, or cycle-related complaints can become unbalanced in the years before menopause. The sooner you learn to understand your body, the better you can prevent or alleviate your symptoms.
Q. How much does a program or consultation with you cost?
A. An intake consultation lasts 75 minutes and costs €275. The costs for follow-up consultations and any tests will be discussed in advance. You will always receive clear information before we start.
Q. How soon can I start?
A. That depends on the current waiting list. After you fill out the contact form or the introductory questionnaire, I will contact you within two business days. We will then schedule a convenient time for your intake interview.
